Half a decade back, in the midst of the COVID chaos, I dove into organizing shindigs for my loved ones just for the fun of it. The idea of strengthening bonds while keeping our distance totally clicked with me!
As public restrictions eased, my crew pushed me to take the plunge and dive into the business world. Fueled by their cheers, I birthed Emerald Mae Events in 2022. Shifting from customer care to bossing around 1099 employees in the first year was a huge leap. My grand mission? Spreading the joy of hospitality far and wide, making event planning a breeze for all!
As the proud leader of a Black-owned, women-driven empire, balancing various roles from event planning expert to creative writer, my days are filled with excitement and passion. The true enchantment unfolds when I unite my team of nine, shaping a future that will fill our children with joy.
